A chance to own a F1 on the road, this has to be the ultimate headturner!
It has two seats so you can share the experience. On a sunday afternoon (if she is brave enough) you could take yor wife down the pub.
The car was based on a Hawke DL19B racing car chassis & running gear, The dimensions are all taken from the Ferrari F1 2000 & the track, wheelbase etc is all within an inch or 2 of that car. The twin engine installation is of 2 x Kawasaki ZX10, 1000cc engines, so total of 2 litres
Each engine supplies around 137BHP hence 274 BHP in total, the car weighs around 600kg hence around 450 BHP/tonne - this translates into truly stunning performance, on a dry road there is barely any wheelspin & the car simply launches, 0 - 60 is around 3 secs top speed is around 170 mph, The performance is fairly brutal & as the car still runs a race steering rack the steering is very sensitive but easy to control. The clutch is nice and light, the car is very simple to drive but really isnt for the faint hearted |
