Original 1957 Porsche 356a right hand drive uk supplied .

The car had a light restoration in 1975 and had a colour change to guards red. The car was prepared for racing and achieved its fia passport (lapsed)

The engine was replaced with a race prepared 912 engine 7500 miles heads rebuilt 3000 miles, external oil cooler

Gearbox type 644 rebuilt with custom gearing 7000 miles

Body lightened with aluminium engine lid, fibreglass bonnet (all original stamped panels come with the vehicle

New wiring harness fitted, electric fuel pump, kill switch’ 12v conversion, nos marchal spotlights

Drums rear discs front , dual circuit brakes and spare drum brakes

Interior speedster seats, smiths timers, plexiglass side windows, repa harnesses , roll cage, fire extinguisher 

Road and race exhausts 

Previous owner of Aprox 46years kept the parts removed from the car , this includes door panels, rear seat ,side glass, switches ,steering wheel ,boot,bonnet,spare door, brakes and original wheels with new tyres no miles

The car comes with a comprehensive history including a large folder of old racing photographs, rally plaques, scrutineering slips and magazine articles

Mille miglia eligible 

This is not a show car and the car has not been painted for 47years and has an honest patina. 

The car has been used sparingly over the last few years as a road car only. But could be brought back to fia race spec
