Mustang Mach 1, 351 V8, Fastback.
California born and bred, this outstanding full nut & bolt Stateside restored Mach 1 was originally built at the famous San Jose plant on 22/11/69. It was collected by its first owner from the well known Ford dealer Paul Swanson on 20/2/70.
This was a special build which included all extras available at the time:
Cleveland 5.8 litre 351 4v V8 engine
FMX Select Shift Automatic Transmission
Front Disc Brakes
Rear Deck Spoiler
Black Hood Stripe
Mach 1 Bucket Seats
Craiger Steel Dished Wheels (including spare)
The full engine rebuild was carried out by the iconic West Coast Engines in San Diego with original receipts. Finished in its original and classic Grabber Orange the paintwork and finish is exceptional & must be seen to appreciate how stunning this car is. The black restored interior can not be faulted.
Regularly driven during the Summer months (dry days only!) it drives and handles like a new car, making it a real joy when out cruising and always attracts attention and stands out among other muscle cars. It has been professionally dry stored when not in use.
All relevant paperwork present ,with matching numbers, including Marti Report & NOVA. Comes with the original spare wheel and keys. Meticulous and regular professional maintenance carried out with a new Bosch battery, distributor and set of spark plugs recently fitted.
Although MOT exempt an annual full inspection is carried out by a Mustang specialist to insure trouble free and enjoyable driving.
